Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving is almost here! But in the midst of all the frantic food preparation by humans, many people try to find a way to include their dogs in the celebration and feasting. This article from the Huffington Post describes things that bakeries are doing to help pups and pooches get in on the fun. If only our dogs here were so lucky. This year at Lucky Mutt, Broccoli and Einstein will be suffering through my home-cooking as I make them special treats. Thankfully, they are not too picky!

Don't forget to take special precautions when preparing your dogs a Thanksgiving sample platter! Many of the foods common in traditional holiday foods can actually cause serious health problems for your dog. On the other hand, these foods are considered safe, and beneficial, for your best friend. As always, check with your vet if you are unsure about your dog and their reaction to people food.

This year, Lucky Mutt Adventures would like to thank all its friends and family for their support in this venture, the city of Manhattan, KS, for having such nice trails, parks, and other spaces for four-legged adventures, and, of course, Broccoli and Einstein, whose doggie love is seriously one of the best things in this world.
